Cinema Madness Week Monday: Avatar

I know I've already reviewed this, click here to see the first review. This is a 2009 film staring Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana. I think it's crud. Short and sweet. Click on the link to see a more detailed review. I give it 1 out of 5 Dark Magicians. I have to go to bed right now, cause it's like 10:00 PM, and my mom is getting antsy.

Cinema Madness Week Monday: Just Go With It

Pat. Pat is. Pat is coooooooooooooool. Dudes and dudets, it's time for my first Cinema Madness Week Monday movie review. The movie: Just Go With It. A 2011 Romantic Comedy film staring Adam Sandler as Danny and Jennifer Aniston as Katherine. Regular critics gave it 18% on Rotten Tomatoes, while top critics gave it 26%. I give it 5 Dark Magicians out of 5. Yeah, I know, I liked it better that Harry Potter 8. I have a taste for Adam Sandler movies. It's good. Danny was about to get married, but his girl ditched him. Several years later he still wears the wedding ring to flirt with women for a night or two. Then he meats a women he actually wants to marry (Palmer) , but she sees his ring. So, Danny has to make up this insane lie which involves several people including his assistant in the doctor's office he works in (Katherine). In the end, he realizes he wants to marry Kathy instead. So he does.

Cinema Madness Week Sunday: Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows Part 2

Welcome, muggles, wizards, and witches, to my 2nd Cinema Madness Week review of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows Part 2, which I saw last night. It is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I great ending to the Harry Potter series. I wish I had seen Part 1, I just saw the brief review at the end if this video by the Fine Bros. Anyway, for those of you who haven't seen it, I won't spoil it for you. But just know that if you haven't see it, you should go right away! The point: I give it 4 1/2 Dark Magicians because it is awesome!

Cinema Madness Week Sunday: Bridge To Terabithia

Yo! Patrick here on the start of Cinema Madness Week! Every day this week, I'm gonna write two, count 'em, two, movie reviews! Today the first one is for a cruddy movie. Bridge To Terabithia. A horrible 2007 film staring Josh Hutcherson as Jess Aarons and Annasophia Robb as Leslie Burke. Now, on Rotten Tomatoes it got 85% from both regular critics and top critics, but from me it gets a big fat 10% and only one, measly half Dark Magician! This movie is bad! I'm sorry if you like it, but I don't. You may wondering: "If he says it's so bad, whey did he see it? Did he even see the trailers?" The answer: Our teacher made us. But first, we had to read the book. Then, as a "reward", we got to see the sucky movie. I guess you probably want to know why I hate it. Well, here are the reasons.
1: The story is boring. It's just a girl, (Leslie) who moves from the big city to the country, befriends a boy, (Jess) make up a mythical world, (Terabithia) and the girl drowns in a creek. Then the boy makes a bridge across the creek the girl drowned in.
2: We don't get to see Leslie drowning and/or her dead body, (although, it is a PG movie).
3: Terrible acting.
4: In this movie, Robb did not have her hair done in a way to make it look short, like it was in the book.
Read my next review to be posted shortly! Stay tuned for more movie reviews!

Harry Potter vs. The Highway

Hey, hey, whadaya say? Cheese! I'm here to say that Harry Potter opened last weekend, (which you should already know?) and they closed that highway for maintenance or something. Harry Potter fans had these options to get to the theaters on opening weekend. A: Blow of the  movie. B: Go to the theater in the thick town traffic. C: Run to the theater by foot. D: None of the above. So, if you're a Harry Potter fan what did you do? Leave your answers in the comments below!
